K9 Hanna & Tracey

Hanna is a seven year-old sable German Shepherd from working lines.  She has been trained since the age of 20 weeks in search and rescue work. 

Hanna has over 500 hours of training in the field.

Hanna is certified by the North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA) in the following disciplines (current in 2008 with NAPWDA certification):

Obedience Control

With her handler, Tracey Dixon, and field support Bob Dixon, Hanna is available to Northeastern Ohio for mutual-aid call-outs from law enforcement or fire/rescue.  GPS systems are used in all call-outs to manage sector coverage.  Handler trained in CPR and first aid.  Field support trained in sector management, GPS, and land-navigation.

Hanna is deployed in a "rapid-response live-find" capacity.  She is not worked as an HRD or "cadaver" K-9.
