We love dogs!   We are a website dedicated to the hero dogs!  

From the dawn of time, the canine companions have guided us.  For centuries the dogs have guarded our households, protected our children, warned us of danger, and helped man travel into civilization.   Always the dogs remained at our side.  To this day when our attention lapses, when our own senses and perception fail, and when hope seems finally lost, man's greatest animal ally steps forward.

Often we hear these remarkable stories: the child dragged from the burning house, the officer saved by a K9 partner, the woman rescued from drowning, the soldier warned away from the trip wire, the little girl found and saved from freezing, or even the intruder who did freeze .... right in his tracks. The contribution of the dog should never be underestimated. 

From the professional handler to the dedicated companion dog owner, we will make the contributions of dogs visible!   At the same time, we are much more than an archive.  We will explore how the K9 heroes became remarkable dogs, and how handlers and owners continue to benefit.  Welcome to the world of the Hero Dog!
